This class is designed for students to increase flexibility, strength and balance. Students will learn to control various tricks, balances and tumbling skills, using mats designed for their safety.
Contemporary allows dancers to combine steps together in more of an artistic format utilizing the technical component of Ballet. Contemporary is typically danced to slower music, either ballads with words or instrumental.
Ballet is a style of dance based on vocabulary and technique. Classes combine stretching, barre exercises and center technique work. Ballet is the most disciplined style of dance and is the foundation for any dancer.
Pre-pointe exercises/classes will strengthen the feet and ankles to prepare the students for pointe shoes. Approval is required to start Pointe.
Variations is where dancers learn and practice choreography from classical ballets.
